OWENSBORO, Ky. - Owensboro Health is excited to announce The Women’s Pavilion, a women’s health care center specializing in obstetrics and gynecology services, will become part of the Owensboro Health Medical Group on July 1.

Providers within The Women’s Pavilion include Andrea Moore, MD, FACOG; Angela Dawson, MD, FACOG; Ann Watson, APRN; Megan Burch, APRN; Darla Alvey, APRN and Kaitlin Wells, APRN.

“The physicians and nurse practitioners at The Women’s Pavilion have great reputations in our community and we’re excited to combine forces to have a larger women’s services group,” Mack Howell, Chief Operating Officer of Owensboro Health Medical Group said. “This move will make it easier for patients to be referred for specialty care, and will allow us to share medical records and notes to ensure patients receive excellent care across the system.”

The change should be a seamless one for patients, Howell added, as the practice will remain at its current location at The Springs (2200 E. Parrish Ave., Building B - Suite 201), and patients will continue to see the same providers.

The practice is known for providing superior care through highly skilled healthcare professionals and state-of-the-art technologies while addressing the needs of patients in a warm and caring environment. The providers offer a full range of obstetrics and gynecology services from an initial exam to childbirth, menopause care and beyond.

In addition to offering a full range of obstetrics and gynecology services, these board-certified physicians are specially trained in minimally invasive gynecologic procedures, such as da Vinci® Surgery, MonaLisa Touch laser treatment, and endometrial ablation.

The transition to Owensboro Health Medical Group is the start of enhancing women’s healthcare in our region – something Dr. Andrea Moore said she is looking forward to.

“When I moved to Owensboro in 2002, I joined a long-standing private practice and I never thought I would transition away from that model of care,” she said. “However, when I saw the amazing things the new administration had in mind for caring for our community and providing outreach to the surrounding area, I wanted to join the Owensboro Health team.”

Owensboro Health plans to welcome the team to the system with a ribbon cutting and reception on July 11 from noon to 1 p.m. at the practice.
