Bill Jordan Named Director of Mitchell Memorial Cancer Center

Owensboro Health is proud to announce the appointment of Bill Jordan as the new Director of the Mitchell Memorial Cancer Center. Bill began his role on Monday, July 15, and reports directly to Chris Sale, Owensboro Health Vice President of Operations. In his new role, Bill will oversee Radiation Oncology, Oncology Infusion, the Hematology/Oncology clinic, tumor registries and Oncology research.
“With decades of leadership experience in Oncology operations, Bill has consistently demonstrated his ability to drive positive results in quality, efficiency and patient experience,” Sale said. “We are confident that his expertise and commitment will be instrumental in further elevating the exceptional care provided at the Mitchell Memorial Cancer Center.”
Bill holds a Master’s in Business Administration with a focus on Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix, where he graduated summa cum laude. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas Wesleyan University. His extensive professional background includes senior leadership roles at Integrated Oncology Network, Tulane Health System, and OptumCare Cancer Care, among others. Bill is well-versed in Meditech, NextGen, and EPIC Beacon, and brings valuable experience to his new role.
