Rascoe Named Owensboro Health’s Vice President of Human Resource Development

Teresa Rascoe has been named Vice President of Human Resource Development at Owensboro Health, effective immediately. Previously, she served as the Executive Director of Human Resource Development.

Rascoe brings over 30 years of experience in the Owensboro Health HR department, where she has held various staff and leadership roles. Her expertise spans multiple areas of HR, including employee relations, learning and organizational development, and employee engagement.

Rascoe has played a crucial role in significant initiatives, such as supporting the adoption of Workday, contributing to the COVID-19 steering committee, and advancing efforts to establish a tobacco-free work environment. Her strategic guidance and collaboration were instrumental in ensuring the success of these projects, empowering teams to achieve key milestones.

Additionally, she was pivotal in the onboarding processes for Muhlenberg Community Hospital, Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center, Multicare Madisonville, and several physician practices, helping to facilitate smooth transitions for team members.

“Teresa has a proven track record of success, having played a significant role in shaping and supporting some of the system’s most important initiatives while continuously evolving the HR department,” said Mark Marsh, President & CEO.

In her new role, Rascoe will report to Marsh and supervise all HR departments, including Recruitment and Retention, Employee Relations, Compensation, Benefits, Learning and Development, HR Information Systems (HRIS), Recognition, Engagement and Wellness.

Rascoe graduated from Western Kentucky University with a degree in Business Management. She is also a member of the American Society for Health Care Human Resources Administration (ASHHRA).
